Getting Started
How do I add my first habit?
Tap the + button on the main screen, give your habit a name, choose a color, and set a schedule (daily, weekly, or every N days). That's it — Mosaic starts tracking from today.
Does Mosaic require an account or login?
No. Mosaic works entirely on your device with no account, no login, and no signup. Your data belongs to you.
How do I mark a habit as complete?
Tap the tile for today on the main screen. It fills with color to indicate completion. Tap again to undo if you made a mistake.
Can I track habits on iPad?
Yes — Mosaic is a universal app built for both iPhone and iPad. With Mosaic Pro, iCloud sync keeps your habits in sync between both devices automatically.
Streaks & Never Miss Twice
How are streaks calculated?
A streak counts consecutive days (or scheduled periods) where you completed your habit. Missing a scheduled day breaks the streak — unless you have Never Miss Twice enabled.
What is Never Miss Twice?
Never Miss Twice is a grace period rule: miss one day and your streak stays alive with a grace token. Miss two days in a row and the streak resets. It's a Mosaic Pro feature designed to help you recover from life without abandoning progress entirely.
My streak shows a different number than I expected — why?
If you haven't completed today's habit yet, your streak shows the count earned through yesterday. Once you mark today done, it'll update. If something still looks off, email us at [email protected].
Widgets
How do I add a Mosaic widget?
Long-press on your iPhone home screen, tap the + in the top corner, and search for "Mosaic." You'll find small, medium, and large widget sizes to choose from.
My widget isn't updating. What should I do?
iOS controls when widgets refresh to save battery. Widgets typically update within a few minutes of opening the app. If your widget seems stuck, try removing and re-adding it. Still not working? Email us.
Pro & Purchases
Is Mosaic Pro a one-time purchase or subscription?
One-time. Pay once, own it forever — including all future updates. No subscription, no renewal, no expiry.
I bought Pro but it's not showing as active. How do I restore?
Go to Settings inside Mosaic and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple ID you used when you bought Pro.
Can I use Mosaic Pro on multiple devices?
Yes. Any device signed in to the same Apple ID can restore your Pro purchase for free using Restore Purchases.
How do I request a refund?
Purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com to request a refund through Apple's standard process.
Data & Privacy
Where is my data stored?
On your device. If you enable iCloud sync (a Pro feature), your data also syncs through your personal iCloud account — not through any Minilabs server. We never see your habits.
How do I export or back up my data?
Go to Settings inside Mosaic and tap Export Backup. This creates a JSON file with your complete habit history that you can save wherever you like.
What happens to my data if I delete the app?
All local data is deleted immediately when you remove the app. If iCloud sync was enabled, you can also remove the iCloud data from Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Account Storage → Mosaic.
